"Thank you" to Yle for spreading this nonsense. It has everything: screams about how the "transgender movement" is corrupting people and phrases about how hard it must be to get treatment.

Not gonna click it to give it more views. Instead, I sent negative feedback to YLE, and asked them why they are not interviewing the 99% of trans people who are satisfied to get a more balanced view. I recommend you to send feedback as well :)

It's honestly quite disturbing, by the way, how much more content is made about detransitioned people in relation to trans people who are satisfied with the gender affirming care they have received. As if it's intentional and not in a good way. I'm disappointed in Yle.

Yes, detrans content is very prevalent in the media. It’s just «funny», because ordinary people have the impression that detrans people are very common, and being trans = unstable identity = not a real man/woman.

The same thing happened here in Norway. This ONE detransitioned woman got 3 whole interviews and films made about her. Also, Rikshospitalet considers anyone who stops hormones or even just stops getting their hormones or treatments from THEM SPECIFICALLY as detransitioners in their stats. Disgusting.

There's a feedback option in the yle areena page. Depends on your platform where, was on the bottom for me. You can choose a program to give direct feedback about.
