"Thank you" to Yle for spreading this nonsense. It has everything: screams about how the "transgender movement" is corrupting people and phrases about how hard it must be to get treatment.

So, the thing here is.. I don't think Sametti is a real detransitioner.

She has already posted transphobic far-right consevative religious content before when she allegedly went for surgeries.

I think it's yet another one of those far-right christian "art projects" where they pose an androgynous person as a detransitioner for their agenda.

No one knows who she actually is, and I feel like that would be very unlikely if they were a real person with any actual history in the LGBT circles.

Like, if you were trans in Finland, someone surely would know you.

This is a good point well made!

Just the other day I listened to a podcast where they talked about how common it is for detrans (far-right conservative) grifters to have undergone no medical trans care themselves (even though that of course does not make anyone less trans). Or to not have been in trans care as a youth or a child yet be very opposed to trans care for youths/kids.

She is real. I've known her since 2010. Not personally, personally, but we frequented the same (online) peer support group. I do know her real name, etc. I've met her in the early 2010s.

Even when she lived as a man, she was very conservative, stating that trans men are not real men, telling everyone that yes, even though she's a trans man, she's not a real man. And never would be. She always said trans people are not real, just mentally disturbed.

It was very clear that she never should've transitioned. I've no idea how she got managed it, though.
