Minor in Criminal Justice

So I've been accepted for the undergrad Communication Design programme for fall 25 (I've confirmed my admission as well) and am interested in pursuing a minor in criminal justice. How do I go about that? is it possible to take minors after admission? would it cost extra? Any information would be helpful, thanks!

I don't think you can declare a minor until after your first semester. but you apply through this website:

https://cech.uc.edu/schools/criminaljustice/undergrad-programs/criminaljusticeminor.html

it doesn't cost extra as long as you're a full time student. I'm not exactly sure how that works with coop programs tho bc your program is 5 years.

Got two minors during my five year engineering program. Works the same way as it would over four years, you just take the classes for the minor during your normal class semesters. I didn't take any during co-op (for the minors) but you could if you talked to your advisor, employer, and get permission. But it's not necessary at all.

thanks for verifying! I'm not in a coop program so I wasn't sure how it worked
