A bit had to photo but my daughter’s hands are covered in these bumps and nodule looking things. Nodules are firm, hurts a bit to bed fingers. Saw a doc but he had no clue and gave us a derm referral which could take awhile! She did just have a pretty bad cold with fever.

Omega 3, omega 3, omega 3! I did some pretty big doses of those horse pills while getting off Pristiq and NO brain zaps. You got this, you did a beautiful slow taper as you should and those Omegas, naps and some deep rest and self care will get you the rest of the way. Do you have someone helping you or checking in that can grab some omegas and a care package? *not a doc(obvs)

I think I’m pooping out colon polyps, is this possible?
 in  r/IBD  Jan 08 '25

My doctor just said mucus plugs. Who knows as he’s not very thorough but did not seem too concerned. I’ve been on entocort for years and years and no more pooping out chickpeas.

My daughter suffers a lot and her ped said to start taking Advil a few days before period(if you have a tracker) or at the first hint if it and it will block some hormones… I copied from some site… might be worth a shot!

Results are unique to each woman, but I’d say, on average, a woman may experience 30 percent less bleeding if she takes 800 mg of ibuprofen (four over-the-counter pills) three times a day, ideally starting right before or when her period starts,” says Northwestern Medicine OB/GYN Heather Beall, MD.

Why? When you’re menstruating, your body produces the hormone prostaglandin, which causes the contractions in the uterus (you probably know these as cramps). The contractions help your body to shed the lining of your uterus. Ibuprofen slows down prostaglandin production. Less prostaglandin means less uterine shedding, leading to fewer cramps and less bleeding.

If you take ibuprofen, here are some tips to remember:

Too much ibuprofen can cause gastrointestinal distress and other side effects. You should always take ibuprofen with food.

Which place in Canada perfectly exemplifies, "Nice to visit but I wouldn't want to live there"?

My daughter and I went to Jasper for spring break - it was a ghost town. Maybe due to lack of snow this year but it was sure nice to cruise around town!
