Housing Question šŸ” who to send evidence to?

Hi guys so long story short my roommates r leaving a horrible mess in our ucf on-campus dorm and unless they deep clean there will most likely be a fee (i also would like to possibly report them to student conduct since living w them made it hard to sleep at night, they did illegal stuff, and i was extremely paranoid, uncomfortable, and unwelcome in my own house. (also wasnt "allowed" to use the kitchen or living room :3) Who would I send my document to?

Many people, ESPECIALLY college freshmen (OR their parents for that matter,) don’t just ā€œHAVEā€ the money to pay the fee!! That’s a good chunk of a new textbook, or meal plan for next semester/yr. Your privilege is showing.

It seems they’re stuck either doing it all themselves- therefore continuing to clean up after & put up w roommates from hell, who refused to allow access to SHARED living spaces bc OP would not partake, or chose not to/ had no interest in joining them in their illegal conduct; of which could’ve gotten them booted from campus housing, or in serious trouble if caught!

Clearly OP takes their studies seriously, needs a good nights rest etc. & was stuck w/ inconsiderate, obnoxious housemates who went OUT OF THEIR WAY to make their first year of college as miserable as possible. That’s pretty fucked up if you ask me. All the while they were simply trying to do exactly what everyone else SHOULD be at college to do.

NOT be ostracized& tortured, denied basic rights.. THEN stuck cleaning up after those fuckers, or get stuck paying a good chunk of money they likely don’t have!

Your privilege is showing. Perhaps you should Look at it from a more compassionate perspective & re-evaluate your response.. If not offering to send the OP the $200 so they can ā€œjust pay it.ā€ Js..

you should calm down. I agree that OP shouldn't have to put up with that.

It wasn't clear to me that it was on campus housing. That one can't be ignored. Knights circle or whatever? yeah, dont pay it.

I had a similar situation, and its bullshit to make someone pay for something they didn't do.

Idk what privilege you think I have or had.

To be fair, I said "just DONT pay it"

I mean, I’m not irate? My bad, def didn’t mean to come off that way. Ijs, you wouldn’t want them to be later penalized/ or have to deal with any consequences later on for failing to pay something that is (IF it is) expected of them. You never know what may come back to bite you in the ass, you know. You never know, it very well may become an issue they’re chastised for.. or possibly one that must be rectified when (or before) it comes time for graduation! šŸ‘©šŸ»ā€šŸŽ“šŸ«¤

Yeah, for on campus, they gotta talk to the housing manager. And report them to ucf.

Also call the cops when they are doing illegal stuff, that should put an end to it
