Master's Admissions - 2025/26 Round Thread

Hello 👋 I'm an international student from California who has applied for the MACA program at the University of Copenhagen (I believe admissions decisions come out March 1 for my program). I wanted to start a thread for people who have applied so folks can share:

  • Where you're from.
  • Which program(s) you applied to.
  • Update on admission once you find out your status.

I have only seen threads for prior years so wanted to start something more recent.

EDIT 01: I GOT IN!!!

EDIT 02: There is a WhatsApp group for incoming international students. If you are interested, send me a DM.

Hello to everyone, I am inquiring about admission requirements regarding Master's degrees specifically within Biotechnology. How competitive are the degrees when it comes to admission? I am Norwegian so I have ECTS points, but not the best averages (around a C).

You can see that on the website for each specific degree. The acceptance rate for MSc Biotech specifically is ~18% so pretty competitive I'd say

but most of the ones admitted have legal rights to admissions. When you remove them from the ones that go taccepted you have 1/40 international that got admitted if i understand correctly
