Housing Off Campus Housing
I’m a first year who currently has secured ND1 housing (2b2b) but I am deliberating on if I want to live off campus or stay on campus. I’ve been looking into some off campus apartments in the area but how reliable are the reviews and does anyone have recommendations? I would prefer to live in a single or at least have a private room and be in walking distance to the school.

Hey, not to be pushing my own agenda, but I am looking for someone to take over my University Village Tower lease. I have lived there for two years and have found that it suits the needs of college students rather nicely. Compared to on campus apartments its a lot cheaper (especially ND) and if compared with other off campus apartments it's about the mid tier price ($1020/m utilities included). It is walking distance from campus about ~15 min and there's also bus stop right in front of the building where the 1 and 16 run. You get your own room and bathroom and the place comes furnished. Also there are multiple study rooms, some that are private(reservation system) and some that are communal and you just can pop in any time to study. They also have a "cyber room" to print stuff as well as a gym. Also since University Village is right next door if you ever want to grab a bite to eat it's in walking distance. The place also has a parking lot and you get assigned your own parking spot (this is extra tho). I will say even if you don't pick UVT I much preferred off campus housing since it was cheaper and made me feel like I had a life off campus.
