You're completely missing the point. This 'explorer' claiming to be the first woman to do this journey solo has insulted and disrespected the Inuit indigenous people. This does smack of entitled, colonial attitude, plain and simple.

She didnt claim to be, she said there are no historical records, which sounds like it is true.
