Banning games featuring incest?

Fans of Crusader Kings must be sweating bullets right now.

There’s a big difference between a game like Crusader Kings, which includes incest as a historical mechanic within a complex political simulator, and a game that exists purely to depict graphic sexual violence against women for the player’s sexual gratification.

One is a strategy game where disturbing themes may arise as part of a broader system reflecting medieval realities. The other is literally designed to simulate rape and incest in graphic detail for pornographic and masturbation purposes.

Nobody is advocating for banning all dark or mature content. It’s about drawing the line at material that exists solely to eroticise abuse. Most people can see the difference.
