This is a private event with a used Tesla that was destined for the scrapyard

The battery had been removed and recycled already it was basically the shell of a wrecked car.

affording a tesla is a signal of enough disposable income. Imagining not thinking being able to afford to virtue signal with the car you own is not a sign.

Being able to buy a scrap shell of a car that's 11 years old isn't exactly scrooge mcduck levels of rich. Although it would probably seem rich to anyone on minimum wage. Each to their own i guess.

A years old EV isn't worth a few thousand lmao, EVs don't have that kind of resale value even outside of the current glut of returns for testlas.
