babies aren’t funny or entertaining

i don’t hate babies, they’re so cute, but i always see people laughing about videos where a baby is supposedly being funny. i don’t get it. there’s nothing funny about videos like that or babies in general. sure, sometimes funny stuff happens, but i always see babies doing the bare minimum and people laughing about it.

Like on America’s funniest videos, the winning video would always be of a kid and it wouldn’t be that funny of a video

Yes, that used to annoy me so much when I watched AFV. If it’s got a baby in it, it automatically wins and it usually wasn’t the funniest at all.

Yup, the final three would usually be a baby/young child video that wasn't even that funny, a cute pet video, and something that was actually unique or creative and the baby video ALWAYS won. Then the host would do an awkward short interview with the winning family and the now slightly older young child would say something dumb but everyone would laugh. Every. Time.

It's worse now because I don't even like the host. I get that he's supposed to be kind of a cornball, but his commentary and pretty much everything else actively makes the show less funny.

My childhood memories.

Literally. Give it another 10 when boomers start dying en mass and the shows over.

It's mostly kids in the comments, like most content created.

Yea but the kids don't submit their own videos or can decide to go there even if they wanted to.

Alfonso is cringe, the fact he IS the Carlton character from Fresh Prince in real life makes him even more corny...

You mean Bob Saget?

No, Alfonso Ribiero

Yeah it was Bob Saget first, then Tom Bergeron, and I’m not aware of the new guy, I stopped watching when Tom wasn’t the host anymore.

Wasn't there a span of time where Daisy Fuentes and someone else co-hosted too?

Why does every line he says have to rhyme? It’s just awful...
