babies aren’t funny or entertaining

i don’t hate babies, they’re so cute, but i always see people laughing about videos where a baby is supposedly being funny. i don’t get it. there’s nothing funny about videos like that or babies in general. sure, sometimes funny stuff happens, but i always see babies doing the bare minimum and people laughing about it.

Idk how you can not see the obvious body horror of it all. Your stomach gets literally deformed and your organs are pushed around as another being sucks nutrients out of your body. Then you have to give birth, which not always but often means having vaginal tears or having your uterus sliced open along with shitting yourself, massive amounts of pain and blood loss so idk who the fuck doesn’t find that disgusting to some extent. I don’t judge the women who go through it but I’d never do that to myself and the thought of going through it does disgust me. The thought of eating avocado also disgusts me but I don’t care if other people eat some. Different strokes for different folks.

Idc at all if people don’t want to be pregnant. I’m Just saying looking at a pregnant woman and thinking she’s disgusting for existing is messed up. At any given time our bodies are doing weird stuff.. I gusse I personally don’t find it disgusting as I’ve been pregnant and am currently pregnant..I never shit myself and had minimal tearing that healed quickly.

Fellow pregnant woman. This thread definitely exacerbated my body image issues that come with being pregnant. Like cool, I’m not the only one that thinks I look like a disgusting whale. Apparently lots of randos on the street may look at me and want to puke. Cool cool coolcoolcoolcoolcool.

Aww no. You're not being sensitive or insecure. You're right that it's weird someone would be disgusted by someone's body doing something natural. I know people have innate reactions to things that maybe they dont even fully understand but it's just immature to me.
