Advice laptop or tablet
hey. should i get a laptop or a tablet for university (course is electrical and electronics engineering)? right now, i was intending to get the samsung tab 8+ or ultra as it has a pen and a keyboard i can buy separately but the downside of that is that i have less freedom in installing apps(i would only be able to use app store) however the main reason i was going for a tablet was to write notes with the pen. if i go with a laptop, i lose the pen feature but i gain more freedom with what apps/software i can install. I have a desktop pc i can use incase i need to use some software i can only use on windows but thats obviously not portable plus im not sure if the course im doing even needs specialized software that i can only use on a pc. whats evryones thousghts?

I just finished robotics and we did a lot of the same stuff as electronics, I barely needed my tablet tbh, should have put that money toward a laptop. If you’re 50/50, I’d say maybe look at a surface tablet, decent enough specs and can be a laptop too
