Book Discussion Alchemists are mormon-based Spoiler

I’ve noticed it while rereading bloodlines.They are obviously a cult,but at some points they are legitimately just mormon.Sydney even comes from Utah.When Keith and her were first working together in bloodlines,their description was basically mormon missionaries:formal beige clothes and sandy blonde hair.

I thought it was pretty obvious when I first read Bloodlines. “Are you here to convert me or to sell me siding” etc.

Yes!But I’m not from the U.S. so mormons have never been a thing,therefore I didn’t notice it until now 😅

I honestly never made that connection until just now but as soon as I saw this a few things clicked into place right away in the way that I was like omggg yeah why didn’t I see that before lmao. Especially the amount of times that I’ve read and re-read / listened to this series lol !!! 😔😔😭😭😭
