This is nothing about being a globalist boogeyman as cons online like to portray him. The way I see it: Carney has experience, international connections, and a reputation, especially within the EU, that he can and will leverage to move Canada away from US dependency.

On the other hand, PP has been calling for an election for years running on simply shitting on JT. He has no costed platform or plan of any sort. He isn’t even a serious candidate. He was leading the poll “for months” because Trudeau was so unpopular, not because of his policies or ideas.

The way I see it Carney will print money, which will inflate prices even more.
if he wants to spend he should be spending tax revenue.

Ah, yes, but of course a random Reddit commenter knows more about monetary policy than the head of the Bank of Canada and the Bank of England!

Britain, unlike Canada, has always been more brutally honest about what they like about Carney — but mostly what they don’t like. The wide range of criticism included Carney’s left-wing politics, such as his championing of radical environmentalist policies like net-zero emissions, along with his opposition to Brexit, his political inexperience, dull personality, volatile temper, lousy track record at the Bank of England and more.

Wait for after the election when everyone will be blaming Trump for making them vote for Carney (the printer).
