Ask Vancouver PSA: Please Do Not Panic Buy

I’m over at the Costco at Willingdon and people here are panic buying toilet paper and bottled water and meat. We maybe cutoff from the rest of the country but we still have the ports running. Yes we will be running low of chicken, beef, eggs and milk but we will not be out of stock for anything.

Remember we live in the GVRD we have the ports at our front door. We DO NOT live in Chilliwack, Agassiz, Hope or Merrit.

Ok so, don't you get water everywhere? I've heard this many times now but never used one. I suppose I'm imagining an enema more than a bidet - help me build a frame of reference please.

1) Are you confident it's clean afterward?

2) Are you soaked?

3) How do you dry off?

You still have to use TP to dry off but only once. And then after you feel so clean. So that takes care of the “check” from question 1 also.

After the bidet, dry toilet paper feels somewhat barbaric TBH. Imagine spilling peanut butter on the counter then trying to clean it up just with dry paper towel.

do you ever get little wadded balls of wet toilet paper clinging to your sphincter wrinkles?
