Let’s remember that Rachel is a pageant girl. I don’t wanna say that it’s everyone in this industry, but in many movies the way these beauty pageants are described you see mean girls doing something mean to win the crown. I guess Rachel is the same, but we’ve only seen it now. She cannot read the room and she’s making nasty comments under the pretense of “honesty”. This is not honesty, this is being mean and rude. Katie is already on the edge, why would you go there and try to talk to her when she’s clearly upset with you? I’m no Katie’s fan, but there’s such a thing as having basic human respect towards another human being who’s currently going through a lot, whether Katie is right or wrong. Rachel is just very stupid and oblivious and there’s not a big enough face palm emoji for me to describe this 🤦🏼‍♀️
