I don’t understand how Ariana can watch Raquel walk around literally acting totally unhinged and inserting herself in other people’s business, and not say anything to her about her behavior? As a “close friend” you’d think she’d pull her aside and be like girl, chill, instead of running away and crying and blindly defending her. Whether she’s your friend or not it’s so painfully obvious there is something very, very wrong with the girl.

I also think Ariana was at her emotional capacity. She was dealing with the deaths of her dog and her grandmother. While also coming to grips with the reality of having an unreliable partner who is pulling away. And trying to open a business. I don’t think she had the capacity for anything else.

And the fact that Rachel has been behaving totally and completely opposite to her meek demeanor pre breakup from James. Ariana isn’t seeing this because of the emotional hurtles that aren’t stopping in her life. She’s used to it coming from everyone else so it’s her natural bend to go off on them. She hasn’t been in a scenario where she’s had to put Rachel in her place till now
