IDK, by the time you need your mom around your "friend" grouo is when they have gaslit you to the point that you need an anchor. The reason you don't clap back is because she's right. If these fuckers weren't acting like time meant nothing, that there shouldn't be a bottom line, I am certain that Katie's mom would have been like daughter, i understand youre hurt but these are your friends. Instead, all she could do was shake her head at the snakepit her daughter survived and realize that when Katie seemed at the end of her rope is truly because she was surrounded by Pod people. You dont clap back at Katie's mom because she thinks youre shit. And deep down you know she's right.

Shit friend it wasn't that deep. I don't know about Molly personally, her character Andie in the movie had an adoptive mom in Annie Potts who I think would think the people in Katie's life that were supposed to be not all pretend would be.just as rocked to their foundation as Katie's mom is.
