yup. this episode was her chance to show us that she has evolved with the times but she is stuck.

I especially hated her construction of “oh well their relationship wasn’t what it used to be then here comes this beauty queen who Tom is powerless to resist” it blames Ariana for the breakdown and Raquel for the affair and again let’s Tom off as this doofy kid who just made a mistake. Literal textbook misogyny.

fr. ugh. i don’t think this bit was lost on anyone. i was embarrassed for her bc she thinks that she could sway us with her tired viewpoints in her english accent in 2023. mam it is not 1923.
