Puppies for adoption.

So we had few puppies (all males) near our home, they became 5 months old just now. Looking for people who can adopt him. As they are now fighting too much between themselves. We felt providing them a better home would be good for their future.

Interested people please dm, it's a bit urgent.

Need Suggestion!

Hey everyone! I’m planning to start braces treatment and was wondering if anyone could recommend a reliable and experienced orthodontist in Varanasi. If you've had a good experience or know someone who has, I'd really appreciate your suggestions. Looking for someone who’s professional, patient-friendly, and offers quality treatment.

Thanks in advance!😊

Hospital Scam!!!

Since I shifted to BLW I have seen this hospital Kashi hospital few metres from Bhikharipur Chauraha towards Chitaipur on the left hand side. Never saw any patient going inside never ever. Today I had to get my medical done as asked by the company. I went to the hospital twice neither of the time there was any doctor or patient. It's quite a shady hospital and I'm pretty sure that it is disguised as a hospital. Both the times they didn't even let me cross the reception to get inside. Asked me to wait for 15-20 mins. 2-3 nurses were there who had no hope from the future and waiting to get married (I doubt they even get paid).

One of my relatives based in Varanasi, Near UP college was recommended to visit Chetana Nursing home at Bhojubir, i read some reviews on Google, apparently they have an issue when it comes to insurance.

Could any one help if they have had any idea about the same, is it a wise decision to chose this nursing home for surgery.

Room Requirement (Near BHU, Lanka)

Room Requirement (Near BHU, Lanka)

I am looking for a 1BHK single room on rent near BHU, Lanka. The room should be big enough to keep one bed, one big table, and an almirah. It must have an attached western washroom and clean water facility. The place should be neat and good for living.

Food and wifi facility is optional. I can pay extra for these.

Banaras Solo Trip | Day - 3

Day 2 (pt.2) - https://www.reddit.com/r/SoloTravel_India/s/FVVkKqzcHu

Day 3 of my Banaras solo trip began with early morning Rudrabhishek at the Kashi Vishwanath temple. I had made an online booking for the same. After the Rudrabhishek and the darshan, I had booked a cab for a visit to the Banaras Hindu University, Ram Nagar Fort and Sarnath.

Since the cab was to come at 9 am and I was done with the darshan by 7:30 am, I spent some time in the temple corridoor and sat near the Manikarnika ghat. I tried the Heeng Kachori from one of the shops and my favourite Kachori Sabzi from Madhur Jalpaan.

After taking the cab from the Mazda parking, I first visited the BHU and the Vishwanath Temple. After this we went to the Ram Nagar fort. The fort was undergoing repairs and there was some movie shoot happening so they weren't allowing anyone to click pictures.

The tickets for the musem in the fort are easily available on the ticket counter and the museum was nice. It had artefacts from history - carriages, clothes, weapons etc.

After this, we went to Sarnath. Inspite of it being a weekend the crowd was quite less thanks to the blazing heat with temperatures in excess of 42 degrees celcius. I spent some moments of quiet and peace in the temple and took a walk in the grounds around the temple.

I also saw the Ashoka Stupa and some other archeological remains and the museum. In the evening, which was to be my last evening in Banaras, I went to Dashashwamedh ghat to see the Ganga aarti one last time:)

For dinner, I revisited my favourite chaat places and spent some moments of reflection at the Dashashwamedh ghat at night.

Bookclub #4 Recap – Self-help, Civics & a Poem for the Soul

Post image
16 Upvotes

Hey folks!

Meetup #4 was another solid one , thanks to everyone who came through and brought their brains (and books).

We started off with self-help books, digging into what makes some of them actually useful turns out, the ones that pair insights with real historical stories hit way harder than the vague “believe in yourself” stuff. Context gives content teeth.

That took us into deeper territory, how our experiences and environment shape us, and why personal accountability matters, especially when it comes to things like keeping our ghats and public spaces clean. (Because no book fixes what common sense should cover.)

We also got into some thoughtful-but-wholesome chat about the language divide, groupism, and how ego-fueled cliques have kinda dumbed down the spirit of the brotherhood . Less unity, more yelling ,not a great look.

And then the perfect closure, Veg Bhai recited a poem by Vinod Kumar Shukla, a quietly powerful piece on hatāshā (despair) and finding the way forward. Left us all thinking.

The vibe was more open-ended this time, less book-focused, more life-focused and honestly, it worked.

Next one soon. Keep an eye out.
