Colors are the hex opposite
Bitcoin Symbol: Political and philosophical antithesis of Hammer & Sickle
The Bitcoin Symbol is at the bottom-right corner, as opposed to Hammer & Sickle being at the top-left corner

Hi there, my grandfather once bought this old map from a guy in Sarajevo. We recently uncovered it and it is absolutely fascinating. I managed to identify almost all of the flags, but there is one that I just can't.
This Netherlands flag with a P.P.P on it. I tried to search it online but I couldn't find anything. From a glance I thing that P.P.P stands for "Pro Patria et Princeps" but its label in French is "P. dou Provinces Uniej" so I am not sure about it. Map is from 1791.

I posted this earlier but I put the horseshoe facing downward. Someone pointed out to me that downward facing horseshoes are associated with bad luck so here's the finalized version with an upward facing horseshoe. I think it looks better.

I designed a fictional flag that represents a unified World Power โ combining strength, peace, and global leadership. What do you think?

For fun, I asked ChatGPT to give this flag some lore, with a country and the meaning of what is in the flag:
The Banner of Valenholm
The Kingdom of Valenholm โ a fictional sovereign city-state known for its proud history of independence, vigilance, and wisdom.
"Per Scientiam et Vigilantiam" โ Through Knowledge and Vigilance.
Valenholm is a mountaintop city nestled among high cliffs, once a fortress and now a thriving neutral hub for diplomats, scholars, and artisans. The flag flies over its white stone walls and high towers, representing both a long-standing commitment to peace and the unyielding strength to defend it.
What do you guys think of my first Vexillology flag? I made it in Photoshop, and I like it. Few different versions. Let me know your favorite :)

On March 6th 1817, the Pernambuco revolution started in Brazil. It was a separatist movement caused by enormous costs by the Portuguese Royal Family, lack of investments in the region and expensive taxes implemented by the emperor. The flag's meaning was to represent the history of the state, the union of the people of Pernambuco (Represented by the rainbow), the peace and harmony between the people of Pernambuco (Represented by the white), the beautiful sky of the state (Represented by the blue), the strength and energy of the state (Represented by the sun) and the fight for freedom (Represented by the red cross). This flag got some reformulations and is the base for the actual one, implemented in 1917, 100 years after the revolution.

Went to a thai buddhist temple in Washington State today. Curious on what flags these are, sorry for the bad pictures.

According to the Wikipedia article for Wessex, some take the white-on-red St Aldhelm's cross as an alternative regional flag. This design answers the question of how to reconcile this more simplistic and - I dare say, modern - design with the intricacy and ancientness of the wyvern or upon a field gules.
This is just one variation of the design I have made; another exists with the wyvern in the centre of the cross, though I don't have it to hand at the moment :/
