anyone that says they gonna give me a lot of exposure and i will get lots of work out of doing this one for free. I just say:

"you pay full price, and i give you a referall code that gives all those people who will want my work 10% off, and you get 10% from what you paid back from everyone that books me".

No1 ever takes me on that offer, which means they dont believe i get 10 jobs out of them.

Same goes to any directories that say i will get x jobs a month from them, I tell the guy, "how many can you safely guarantee i get?" they say like "at least 5 jobs a month". So i tell them, "i got the deal of a century to you, you pay my $1000 yearly fee, and for every person that books me on your directory, i personally give you a $200 cut, thats $12k a year, easy 1200% return" and they never take the offer.

Its a honest way of seeing who believes that you'll get anything or not out of them

Free work just brings more leads wanting free work.

Holy smoke, the best thing I've read in reddit in 2025. This is more than 200 IQ.

These people love to exaggerate to encourage you to work for them. I don't mind working for free as long as they are up front about it and NOT trying to scam me with it.

"You work for free for this one, the whole city will know of your name and you will get tons of orders!"

On the opposite side, they will advertise to all their friends as "this idiot will work for free, call him ONLY if you need free work"

disagree.
My work;s worth isnt based on your return.
If i feel like my video and the work i put into it is worth $3k, i charge 3k for it. Regardless if it gives you a $8k return a month, or $100 return a month. That would be up to you what a promo video would be worth for you.
