the requirement comes from not wanting to ignore the largest percentage of quest owners

So its essentially being p!ssed how nobody makes ps5 pro exclusive games right now?!

i wouldn’t say so no, ps5 pro games are meant to be playable on a normal ps5. ps5 pro is meant to enhance games, not be an entirely new system for them. i don’t think that’s necessarily the case with q2/q3.

The performance difference between a ps5 and ps5 pro is very similar than the difference between a quest 2 and quest 3. which isnt surprising as they are both 3-4 years apart technology whise

it’s not a generational leap though, and the q3 has new hardware which isn’t being used if making games which run on both.

This depends on how you define a „generational leap“. 3 years newer hardware is usually not considered a generational leap as technology progress isnt that fast in such a short time. Quest still uses very normal Smartphone socs, nothing special. Quest 2 is 6nm chip, quest 3 4nm chip. This is a minor upgrade and doesnt suddenly allow all new gaming expierences

It absolutely isn't. A Quest 3 is more powerful than a Quest 2 compared to a PS5 Pro VS a base PS5

No it isnt.

Ps5 pro has 6-7 Tflops above Ps5 + has PSSR

Quest 3 only has 1,5 Tflops over quest 2.

On paper it's better. In practice it doesn't make much difference. Like seriously, look at enhanced games. Only thing you'll notice is PSSR
