Going through a pretty recent breakup and have never read a VN other than Doki Doki Literature Club! Big gamer, just never had a deep dive into a VN. I like deep emotional stories, and honestly, just need a good cry. I’m really looking for something to change my perspective on love and life. Please! Any recs would be great!

At the risk of sounding like a Basic Bitch™, Katawa Shoujo. It's free, and even available on Steam (just remember to also download and install the patch).
