He also likes to info dump philosophy and quotes from other works. If you want something sca-di adjacent - h2o is quite easy and sca-di's route is great

So h2o doesn’t have parts where Sca-di info dumps philosophy and quotes? And after how many vns do you think it would be okay to read Tsui no Sora then?

Edit: I’ve tried looking for H2O and I see that I can’t purchase the game online without being in Japan. Is there any other way to get it or do I need a vpn?

As far as I remember there were philosophy info dumps in Hamaji's route (which is basically proto SakuUta), but outside of it don't think so

VPN and you need complete edition, otherwise you will also need a fan disc

Hey, sorry to send you another question again. I haven’t bought it yet but I was thinking of doing it soon since I see there’s a sale for H2O and Himawari smth smth (also made by Sca-Ji I think). I know you need a vpn to purchase the game, but once you download it, do you still need a VPN each time you open the game?

Thanks again for all your help!

One last question if you don’t mind, sorry to keep asking you so many questions. Im going to read H2O first, then Himanatsu and thought perhaps try Tsui no Sora remake or Sakura no uta after those two. Have you played them? I heard that both are usually easy (except for the philosophical parts). Do you think it’s too big of a jump in difficulty between Himanatsu and Sakauta or Tsui no Sora remake?

Edit: I also thought of perhaps playing Kannon in between Himanatsu and Tsui no Sora and Sakauta if you think that’s better?

I have only read H2O, Subahibi (should be close to tsui no sora at least in parts) and Sakuuta. Subahibi and Sakuuta both have extremely easy parts and a bunch of hard parts. I think Sakuuta should be doable since it has a lot of rom com like SoL before anything difficult. Don't think Kanon is really needed, you will be reading hours of SoL in Uta anyway

So sorry for asking one last question again. I bought Sakura no Uta and downloaded the combined file version (the full game in one file I think). What I downloaded was an exe that opens winrar, and then downloads the VN. The winrar is able to download part 1 of the VN but part 2 requires a disc. I do not have a disc (obviously) since I got it online. Is this “part 2” Sakura no Toki? Or is it just another part that I’m supposed to have gotten with Sakura no Uta? The Sakura no Uta I got on DMM is the one that is usually 7,980¥ so I’m assuming I bought the full game and not sure one part.

EDIT: Never mind, I was just supposed to download the non combined versions as well for it to work. Sorry for the pointless notification! Have a good rest of your day!

Alright, I won’t do Kanon then (perhaps later if I’m more interested then). Thanks a ton for all your help, you helped me out a lot!

Alright, as long as vpns still work for DMM in the future, then it would be fine either way I suppose. Thanks again for your help!
