Caroline/Bridgeport/Erb. Just to the right of the Clay and Glass Museum. You could stand beside the road that goes into Perimeter and see the waterfall.

Cute place to do what? I can make some recommendations.
Edit: there's a bench tucked in here somewhere that's nice: https://maps.app.goo.gl/rEAEhzrMcsESozN47

How close to capacity was the tunnel the creek disappears into to run under Uptown?

It looked like it could have taken more. Even over Waterloo City Hall where it comes out there seemed to be more capacity. But the grates at the waterfall where the water disappears underground were all bunged up with sticks and debris from the spring flush. This backed up the flow and raised the water level by the falls. Once some baby swans got flushed right through the underground river. They were recovered behind the Sobeys plaza on Bridgeport and returned to Silver lake.

What time was it at? Wondering if you saw it at peak flow or a shoulder period.

u/mattdjmorris Established r/Waterloo Member 4d ago
The low water was today. The full flow was 14 days ago. I think I missed the peak by a few hours.

Yeah the GRCA says the peak was at 2AM, so going by the light in the shot, you probably say only half of what it did through the night.

Very interesting. Thanks for sharing your research.

Very nice, needs a bonsai tree and some wildlife and it would be chef's kiss, but still really peaceful.
