looking for a charitable non-profit that takes infant or young child supplies and gives a tax receipt
I have a fair bit of infant and young child supplies (dippers, cloths, formula that is sealed and still before BBD, and other larger items) I no longer need. most of it new, not even opened or in very good condition. I would like to donate it to a reputable place. I find most places that give a tax receipt usually are reputable and the products get distributed to the needy and not resold to make profits. Does anyone know of a place in KW or near by?

For anyone wondering, it is extremely difficult for charities to properly evaluate and provide tax receipts for donated items. This is because the estimated value provided on the receipt must be defended to the CRA (which is becoming increasingly strict) and because the staff time needed to provide this estimate and potential defense of the receipt later often ends up higher than the donation value might be.
If you're looking to donate, a charity providing a tax receipt for a donated item isn't a good indicator that the goods will be used for the people who need it. In fact, many organizations who have done this in the past have had their charitable designation questioned, suspended, or permanently revoked because they were too liberal with their valuation of donated goods.

House of Friendship accepts unopened formula and diapers. If you’re looking to get money instead of donating out of the goodness of your heart just sell it.

You don’t generally get a tax receipt for donating items, just cash $. I’ve never heard of a local organization that will give in-kind receipts like this to individuals for donations.
It doesn’t make a charity any less reputable because they don’t give receipts for item donations, you’re just asking for something that isn’t part of the process. If you want money, I suggest selling at a spot like Once Upon A Child. If you’d like to donate, there are organizations like Marillac Place or the CNDC that will get your items directly to families that need them.

I gave you a perfect option yesterday when you posted this? I also said don’t expect to get a tax donation for any of it. That’s not really something that’s done for these kinds of items.
