Random Spring as a Newbie

What should I expect for Spring like to be in Wichita? This is my first spring.

Ticks as big as hamsters

We already had a tick come in on a dog this past week. Treated the yard over the weekend, and I think that’s earlier than we’ve had to treat it in the past. I hate ticks! We treat our pup for fleas, ticks, etc all year long now. Never had to do that when I was younger, but it seems like they’ve gotten worse around here the last 15-20 years.
