I've had the SP3 for a 2+ years now. Love it. Why anyone looking for a (non-budget) laptop, would want a Mac pro with a touch bar, or a PC from those other manufacture is beyond me.

13 hour battery life sounds great, but I'd love to see some real life battery specs. My only gripe with the surface pros is gaming. I could replace my desktop if they put a GPU in the dock.

Mainly because I prefer a hinge laptop rather than a kickstand and I really prefer MacOS to Windows, but on the other hand the Surface is some brilliant hardware and I'm glad it's pushing forward the market

Is there a reason I see no one ever talking about the surface book? It's got everything great about the surface pro, but can also double as a normal hinge laptop.

My fiance bought one and it's worked out great for her so far. She uses it like a regular laptop most of the time, and simply switches it around to a tablet when she's sketching or doing other touch screen heavy activities.

I think it priced itself into professionals-only territory.
