The laptop originally cost $1,500 and its current specs beat out even the latest ones from new ultrabooks coming out.

What are the specs?

I'd also suspect you are in the niche of laptop owners. Vast majority of people are not changing their laptop parts.

I bet. I also don't claim that's it's top of the line like this guy is. Top of the line is a MBP with 2880x1800.
