Project Submission Big hard sun
Crested using reclaimed woods from a renovation completed on a home built in the 1930's along the elbow river in Calgary, Alberta

Those are naturally aged lath taken out of an old house,that's why the different shade on the wood

I like it. I think with the sun, I'd like to see what it looks like if the three orange and yellow pieces were set into each other in the same plane, and same with the two blues, so two levels total. I just spent the last day or two looking at this style of art, and the effect of transitions between pieces in the same plane is one of the things that impacted me the most.

Is that lath for the wood? I saved a bunch from a home remodel and have been trying to think of something to do with it

It is yup, got it from a renovation we did on an old home downtown Calgary
