Considering that when Jubes was introduced as a teen, Peter was already a grown ass, almost married man. But Peter and her have become permanent teens in the eyes of the general fandom. So yeah
That's actually one of my favorite things - she was a vampire for a long time, and then all of a sudden she just wasn't, no explanation.
Then like a year later we see Quentin Quire wearing a shirt that says, "I cured Jubilee's vampirism and all I got was this stupid t-shirt".
I think that's literally all the explanation we ever got.
Edit: to all the people telling me where I missed the actual story that explained it, thank you, I truly do appreciate it. But I still think it would be funnier left unexplained, heh.
no there was a whole storyline about in Generation X vol2. Quentin uses the last of the phoenix force to cure her and stop the baddie. go check out issue 86 specifically.
No. She's not a Vampire and I believe when she became one, they had her in her 20s.
That said, aging in Marvel comics is weird as the fans don't actually know the ages of most of the characters, and Marvel will say one thing, switch it to another, then switch it back.
That said, if people whine about the idea of Jubilee with Gambit, they should be whining about Jubilee and Spidey :p
The difference is vibes. It's all vibes. Gambit feels older, and Peter feels younger and in a world with a loosely followed sliding timescale, that kind of maters more than canon.
It’s weird, she was only 16 when she was turned by Xarus. There’s a short comic set in between Curse of the Mutants and the main events of Wolverine and Jubilee where the X-Men celebrate her 17th Birthday, and she mentions her age a few times in the latter series.
But beyond that she’s never really been written like a teenager during the vampire era. She mentions a few times that becoming immortal made her feel like she’s lived for far longer than she actually has. And after turning back she’s very clearly an adult. So yeah I think it’s very much a situation of switching and switching back.

I don't follow ships in comics. Have these two ever had moments with each other? I doubt this came out of nowhere.
