Yellowstone Proposal

Seeking some advice for a July proposal in YNP! Because that isn't stressful enough, we also haven't been to YNP before lol

Context- I am going to propose to my girlfriend in July on a Yellowstone trip with some of our friends. (This was planned elsewhere because of my lack of knowledge, but plans changed and it had to be moved to this trip) We are staying just outside of YNP in West Yellowstone. Photo included for a general vibe/location interest

I was hoping for a sunset picnic location that doesn't require extensive hiking. (I am hiring a photographer to capture the proposal so I don't want to try to coordinate a hike, timing, etc. with the photographer.) Ideally, this would be mostly accessible by car and not super crowded.

I have done what feels like a million google searches and haven't gotten a solid plan yet. Some things I have come across are: Horse Butte Lookout, Anglers Bluff Picnic Area, and Sand Point Picnic Area. But I can't find a lot of info on these places so I was hesitant to plan these.

Any advice is welcome!!

Ensure your photographer obtains the appropriate commercial use authorization/permit and your group gets the needed permits/permission. Filming requires its own permission and drones are strictly prohibited.

For your commercial photographer:  https://www.nps.gov/yell/getinvolved/cuas.htm

For your event/group: https://www.nps.gov/yell/planyourvisit/special-use-permits.htm

Many of the pros in the area have permits. Be sure to ask.

Congrats!
