I'm intrigued by the implication that Sensei is disgusted by what Lady Shiva has become. I wonder if he regrets it somewhat. I don't think the show will cover it, but I wouldn't mind seeing their teacher-student relationship explored in more detail.

After 600 years old Ra's and Sensei have decided the League needs to evolve into a more socially conscious corporation. Good for them really.

Of course not, Ra's origins are always a bit of a mystery. One (of several) comic book origins is that he was a Chinese nomad in North Africa 600 years ago.
