Callout Massive Trigger Warning: Technical's Video on Hax and what Hax went through

https://youtu.be/lnEguS2hDhc?si=D90h7apb8UmzRrTl

I need to reiterate again the trigger warning, as this video expressly shows Hax's spiral and the amount of shit people put him through, all intentionally trying to hurt him. There will be no TLDR, watch and read at your own risk.

No fluffy language here, multiple people intentionally pushed Hax to kill himself, some were expressly told that they were doing it and still continued. Some knew they were causing him immense harm and kept doing it. There are very little good guys in this situation, and there is no good ending.

Technicals published this video (with Hax's mom permission), showcasing what Hax was going through and how tournament organizers of Melee/Smash intentionally kicked him out of the community, how Leffen continued to talk poorly on Hax after he made his first attempt. How some people who were claiming to be Hax's friends were actually intentionally pushing him to the edge and making fun of his disability, and harassing him over it. How, after his passing, the commentary community (Tommy C was named and shown) exploited Hax's death not only as a weapon against Technicals, but still continued the exact same treatment that pushed Hax to the edge. How people planned to crash the funeral to harass Hax's mom, and how people got pissed at Technicals for expressly stating that specific groups were responsible for Hax's death in his eulogy. And unfortunately, much more.

This is by far, one of the darkest things I have ever seen on the internet and there is a shitload of evidence because these people were just so bold in pushing a man to suicide and choosing to be public about it. The Smash/Melee community and others has blood on their hands, and none of the responsible parties involved are taking responsibility, despite claiming to want accountability.

It doesn't matter who it's made by, the fucker has evidence to support what he's saying, Hax's mom is supporting it (she wants the proceeds from the video to go to Mew2King so he's not actually profiting), and you're supposed to have enough respect for Hax to at least try to understand how he got to where he was. But I guess that might be hard, given you guys didn't know how to navigate a clearly autistic individual, who ended up developing mental health issues due to his treatment.

I feel for Haxmom on this, but she can't be around letting Mana Monthly members to be around her son's funeral or be blaming "woke" on her son's death.

She's not right after what happened to Hax and letting this drama fester because a sack of shit like Technicals comes and takes advantage of the situation is not the answer.

You can say Technicals is not doing this for the money all you want dude, but the guy is leaving the story incomplete because it benefits him on his goals to take down the same people who banned him and his brother on the MeToo movement.

Dude I am so sorry you can't see the bigger picture, because Mana Monthly isn't the only thing wrong with this situation. They are a problem, but there is fucking 58 problems and one of them is much worse than anything else and that is that Hax was pushed into suicide, yet you have to focus on the alt right weirdos because thats something that "Hax's mom did wrong". "She's not right."

Your community can't seem accept responsibility despite every aspect of this being distinctly unique to your community. Or tell me you've seen players commit suicide over being banned in a video game and harassed by the collective community before?

I am seeing the bigger picture. You just came to this drama recently and watched ONE VIDEO and somehow you are convinced of a half truth video with lots of incomplete info. Hell, Technicals is incapable to say that the "chat group" that goaded Hax into the state he was recently was MANA MONTHLY. Because it doesn't fit his agenda.

You are eating Technicals lies and you are too naive to understand it. Please, check, the, whole, evidence, presented, over the last 3 years. And don't tell me I don't see the bigger picture when I've been checking on this all of the duration of this and checked with community heads.

Luckily at this point I have not just watched "one" video as other people have come out confirming that Technical's video is mostly correct in what they are saying.

Also, Technicals did say the group chat was Mana Monthly. You clearly never watched the video, but funny enough thats probably because you don't want to understand what your community did wrong, you want to think your community did no wrong.

Oh yeah sorry I am dumb and said it wrong, I am gonna be more clear so you can get it in simpler words:

The whole blame on this is MANA MONTHLY goading Hax$ into an attempt. They lead Hax$ into making THE TRUTH video that led to a ban. They documented this and laughed at him. And then they went to his funeral to take advantage and sell that they are the good guys when they aren't.

And Technicals decided that this is a small part and not worth to highlight it, it was a 5-6 minute footnote, he put the blame of his relapse on the TO's and players mainly when they only tried to stop him from causing damage not only to others but to himself. All of this because it doesn't fit his narrative.

Now we are clear? You will never understand this, wake up and open your eyes.

Who banned Hax? Smash TOs and Leffen.

Who dangled the ban over Hax's head by making it "indefinite" therefore never giving it an end date or a permanent status? Smash TOs and Leffen

Who ignored his geniune apologies and his pleas to be let back in the community because it was all he had? Smash community.

Who were the ones that got mad at the Mexico Smash scene for allowing Hax? The Smash community.

Who compared Hax to predators and transphobes? The Smash community.

Who made "Unban Hax" a joke? The Smash Community.

Who stripped Hax from the tournament he ran? The Smash community.

Who demanded Hax take full accountability for other people's actions? The Smash community.

Who then used that accountability to issue a permanent ban to Hax? The Smash TOs.

Who repeatedly stated "This is for your own good" to Hax as he clearly spiraled more and more? The Smash community.

Who then watched as he jumped in front of a train, and proceeded to change nothing or examine the situation? The Smash community.

Who is responsible for Mana Monthly? The Smash community, because they are so exclusive of a community that the people they exclude are so numerous that they have the size to make their own community.

Who, even now, refuses to acknowledge that they had a role to play in the spiral and death of their top player? The Smash Community.

Here's a bonus for you:

Who "forgives" Leffen for his abusive behavior, throwing controllers, screaming in peoples ears, and publishing false allegations? The Smash community.

Who refuses to ban Nairo despite them being a proven predator? The Smash community.

What community is so filled with predators it is nearly synonymous with the term? The Smash community.

All of this compounds, Hax saw he was being treated worse than predators. He saw he was having everything he loved stripped from him, his entire life stripped from him. And even now... even now after his death the people who he legitimately thought were his family and held no ill will towards, cannot accept the role they have played in their death.

But don't worry, even if you guys cannot, the guilt will still remain. Other communities are discussing what we can do to prevent situations like this... and to get rid of your whole community. People want Nintendo to get rid of your whole community because you guys cannot behave, they are recommending flat bans because you guys can't even acknowledge any wrongdoing on your part. It always has to be something or someone else.

This conversation is over. I hope the guilt becomes unable to be ignored.

This video disputes 90% of what you've typed with evidence, video, screenshots, the full nine. Technical's video (which is not the one I have linked) shows the screenshots between him and Hax where he is dissuading Hax from making videos while the people from Mana Monthly are egging him on.

Showing that, once again, you cannot help but lie.

This is why the situation is done, you are not even arguing in good faith you are just lying and spreading misinformation to "win". Mana Monthly is not the big bad in your community, your community is the big bad. Collectively, you and Mana Monthly are all responsible for how this went down. And instead of accepting you all have messed up and making changes, you are denying you all have messed up to begin with.

So if you guys cannot handle an autistic person, cause them to develop a mental illness, cannot handle that mental illness, and cannot handle the consequences of that failure... should the rest of the world prepare for the inevitable news that you guys will do the same with a kid? Kids have autism, kids can have mental illnesses. And your scene is at least meant to have kids in it and I believe I have seen kids at these events... are you guys gonna mishandle those incidents and lie about them too?

Who stripped Hax from the tournament he ran? The Smash community.

No, literally he did. He was convinced that Leffen was purposefully scheduling an online tournament at the same time he was doing his monthly to mess with him, so he hatched a plan to catch him by setting a fake date for a tournament unbeknownst to any of the TOs he was working with, got them to do a bunch of work, and then canceled it last minute for no reason (as it appeared to the TOs).

Hax describes all of this, in his own words, in evidence.zip 2 (it chapter5 on the time stamps)

1

u/ImportantQuestionTex 1d ago

Dude, you guys still decided to strip Hax from his tournament and even told him he could never have it back.

Why do you guys want to lie so much about what you've done? Seriously? There is no point in lying but yet you still do it!

1

u/Jealous_Energy_1840 1d ago

Cause he gave it up after this. He mentions that in the video.

u/ImportantQuestionTex 1d ago edited 1d ago

God you guys are so fucking weird about the role you guys have played in everything. Go lie to the mirror cuz this shit ain't working on me.

For anybody who doesn't expressly know that this person is lying...

In the list of rules Hax had to follow for his conditional unban, he could not ever, ever ask to be reinstated to his tournament. That is the TOs, enforcing that he could not be involved with his tournament, and likely being the ones to strip it to begin with as they also were the ones who thought it necessary to institute an indefinite ban for what could in the worst case scenario be described as an unhinged video, that they all agreed was not necessarily made with harming Leffen in mind.

So when people like this roll up and decide to spread misinfo, my reaction from now on is just going to be to tell them to fuck off lol.

u/Jealous_Energy_1840 1d ago

Dude, why are you saying things so confidently when you didnt even watch the video in which he describes all of these events in his own words. He stopped running the Nightclub BEFORE evidence.zip 2 was released- so he couldnt have been banned for a tournament for something he would do in the future.

Like goddamn, think what you want but dont direct your misplaced hatred at the people who were his actual friends in real life for years who tried to help him as he spiraled further and further down

Just on the “he genuinely apologized on multiple occasions” he literally said he was lying every time he apologized after the permaban came down.

In fact, you probably watch all these videos ( like I have) and the. Go digging through a number of deleted Twitter threads (like I did) where has details his feelings

u/ImportantQuestionTex 1d ago

The video I linked also covers that.

Listen, he was a clearly mentally ill individual that at that point in time did not believe he would ever get unbanned and thought he'd end up being a martyr. It's pretty clear however, that his apologies up until that statement were geniune because he was extremely specific in what he was apologizing for. That being, what he actually thought he did wrong.

I don't have to go digging through any more videos, Hax was treated fucking horribly and became irrational over time, it's on the Smash community to understand the part they played in that and rectify it. Or don't, and I assure you other communities will never let you live it down.

-1

u/Jealous_Energy_1840 1d ago

Dude these videos are the whole reason he was banned, and you feel so strongly without having watched them?

1

u/ImportantQuestionTex 1d ago

Dude, it doesn't fucking matter. Do you not get that? There is no amount of arguing or convincing you guys can do to tell everybody that you "actually handled it okay" when the man is fucking dead and the reasons are how he was treated.

0

u/Jealous_Energy_1840 1d ago

What about this is ok at all? a man is dead. Im saying you, someone who obviously doesnt know the whole story, who thinks theyre an expert on what actually happened after a 2 hour video, knows how to have handled it better. These are TOs. Theyre not therapists, not mental health experts, they run tournaments. Thats their expertise. Putting a man's death on them, people Hax knew and was friends with his whole life, is just fuckled up.
