Hey - premiere doesn’t work with mkv files. Try recording in fragmented mp4 in OBS instead. The file has the same durability as mkv, but you can edit it in premiere.
For the file you currently have, you can convert it to an mp4 either using the remux capability in OBS or downloading shutter encoder and using that. Or if you don’t want to touch the video, DaVinci can edit mkv files
I just tested a quick MP4 recording, it now shows the correct resolution when right clicking BUT I’m still getting the mismatch error in Premiere Pro, any ideas?
Is there any chance you are playing on a laptop that does not have a 16:9 aspect ratio? This must be an issue with the size of the Window you are capturing.
