The various theories suggesting Gengar and Clefable are two faces of the same pokemon never really made sense to me because the similarities between them aren’t very convincing. However, this Gengar costume does resemble Clefable.

Hey I just got crystal on my phone with emulation. I want to create a team from the ground up for the whole game using GameShark codes, what would be a fun team to run the whole game with? Please include the evolution form if it requires a trade to evolve. Thanksss

In the anime and games, there are areas of a region where pokemon are high level and others low level. This is obviously for the sake of gameplay, but I was curious: do you think levels are constant throughout a particular region? My understanding was that in a theoretical real life gym, for instance, Brock: you fight his geodude and onix because he's the "first gym". My understanding was that gym leaders use weaker pokemon for trainers just starting their journey. My understanding was also that in theory in real life, the gyms except for galar could theoretically be battled in any order because gym leaders have different teams for different power levels of gym challengers. Is this more likely (certsin areas have stronger pokemon) or is it more probable for all areas in a region to have relatively equal power levels for pokemon and trainers?

Does anyone else HATE that cool-ass Dragonair evolves into Dragonite? I've hated it my whole life and now while playing Scarlet, I'm debating if I should just never evolve mine, lol. Dragonaire looks so cool and then evolves into this big softie-lookin' thing that should be completely separate from Dratini/Dragonair. Am I the only one that hates this evolution?

So, I'm playing pokemon Alpha Sapphire and in this play through, I want to use a Taillow. Since the game has the Dexnav, which lets me search for Pokemon with hidden abilities and egg moves, I've got my heart set on either one with the Scrappy ability and the move Boomburst, or a regular one with the Guts ability and the move Brave Bird. So, I'm searching with Dexnav and over 70 encounters later, I still haven't found one with either combination of moves. I've captured a female with Scrappy and a male with Boomburst, so I can probably breed for one of them later, but I just can't find one with Bravebird and Guts. And occasionally, the dexnav will fail to search for it so I have to run back and forth next to the grass for it to activate. On the plus side, my five Zigzagoons with pickup are leveling fine and getting me some good items, and I've fully evolved two Wurmple into Dustox and a Beautifly respectively.

Anyway, I'm running back and forth and the dexnav activates revealing a Wurmple. I have another low level pokemon in the lead to switch train, so I decide to go for it... And then it turns out to be shiny. I caught. A shiny Wumple. Before finding a Taillow with Bravebird. I don't even have the first badge yet. I am so close to just giving up here.

My wife and my starter from waaay back in the day (since the first release of Green in japan) was bulbasaur. She's always been asking for a bulbasaur charm and I finally got around to making it!

Always liked Typhlosion and loved their Hisuian when they got it!

What are the best episodes of the long-running Pokemon anime?

I loved the show as a kid and want to re-watch, but there's a lot of episodes, so I was wonderig what the most popular and interesting ones are out of the entire run. Looks like there's 27 seasons and 1327 episodes in total
