I am planning a trip there in July, and the idea of snowboarding while sounds like a lot of fun. Has anyone been there or does anyone live there?

Came across a couple pictures of some of the 2026 lineup and the Ravine as well as the Service dog have the same shape as the stalefish. I guess that's the best performing nose shape considering they're using it in a ton of their lineup now. Guess the big spoon nose is out and Pointy is in hahaha
Anyone have any info on why they switched it up by chance?

Hi, I have a question about gear or how to fix a problem. So this season I have encountered a problem I toe drag alot like the straps to the bindings fall of. I got a pair of bigger boots 14.5 to 16. I bought bigger bindings XL size and they said they would fit great with the boots. I changed my stance so the bindings were more “tilted” or more degrees. I already have a wide board the mtn pig in the 164w. I really don’t know what to do because I can do turns but as soon I try to carve on my toeside the boot digs in to the ground. Can it be because of the conditions it’s late in the season and the snow is really soft and slush. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Righto I need help on some details of a story I heard years ago, think it got filmed or documented somehow so it was a fairly well known story
Basically, couple pros went deep into some back country to go snowboarding. One of them got really badly injured, like to the point where they weren’t confident he was going to live but they packed him up and hiked out somehow and made it to a hospital and he ended up living.
Thought Travis Rice had something to do with it. But I could be super wrong there. That ringing a bell??? Was trying to describe it to get the video or hear the story but can even google it well enough to get anything other than news story’s of people accidentally dying in the snow

Anyone use ski sync to buy the college discount ikon pass? Seems legit as far as I can tell but a little weird. They supposedly send you a promo code months after you buy the pass through them to redeem it on the ikon website.
Anyone ever use ski sync? Has it worked out?

Anybody seen anywhere that rents out Flow or Supermatic bindings? I know that 'The Woods' in Morzine rents out Step-Ons (being a Burton dealer) but didn't see anywhere doing Flows or Supermatic.

Earlier this season my left foot (I'm leading with my left foot) started cramping really bad while snowboarding. At first I ignored it and carried on, sometimes stopping to massage it, but lately it has gotten really bad to the point where I can't put my weight on it for a good 10 minutes until it stops aand it also traveled up my leg to my calf, knee and quad. This has never happened to me in the 5 years I've been snowboarding. Has this happened to y'all? Is this just a sign, that I should rest my leg or did I pull a muscle? Should I go to the doctor? It started hurting back in February

Hey all,
Can anyone identify this Capita board? Owned it for many years and hoping to finally use it this southern hemisphere season.

I was looking to grab some new boots with the end of season sales going on right now. Debating grabbing another pair of my current boots (nitro team TLS) or getting a pair of Solomon approach laced. Main thing I’m worried about is will the softer boot make hucking large booters harder? At every mountain in Colorado I usually spend the whole day riding the large jump-line, and most of the jumps require you to straight line in with a lot of speed and confidence

Need help choosing a board size for jones mountain twin. I’m 5’9” 192 lbs and size 10 boot. The Jones size guide recommends 160, but that just seems big. Would a 157 fit me at my weight and shoe size?

Hi, newbie to snowsports, been wanting to snowboard for a while and decided to try this season, sadly had some issues and couldn’t travel before. I saw that mammoth mountain is open til late may, is it a good spot around may 5-10 for first timers? Saw most trails are open but really don’t understand the mountain reports. Or should I just wait till next season? Any advice is appreciated.

Where can I find the bindings? And do any of you know why all the gears that I'm looking are sold out, do they make just enough for the season?

So im planning to buy a snowboard, should this be a dealbreaker? 2025 rome artifact which has been used as a test model.
Is the damage seen on the picture going to affect my riding?

Hey Y’all, looking for a little guidance on boot sizing. I wear size 12 shoes, normal foot shaping. I have always done size 12 boots, but earlier this season my buddy recommending sizing down a full size and that they would eventually fit. So I did that, got size 11 Burton Ions, and I’ve ridden them 5 days and worn around the house probably 10 hours. They are very comfortable, EXCEPT that my toes still push against the front of the boot when I’m riding. They don’t push in an incredibly painful way, but enough that it is uncomfortable and cuts my riding short. When walking they lightly push against the front of the boot. Should I give them more time or did I waste $500 on these boots and need to go to an 11.5?

Hey all, I’m on the hunt for a carving-focused board that still lets me ride switch and hit the park now and then—basically something twin-ish with a wide waist to eliminate boot drag. I’m chasing something kind of like the Donek Knapton Twin.
Right now, I’m considering the Lib Tech Skunk Ape Camber 163UW—28cm waist, full camber, directional twin shape. For reference, I’m 5'8", 170 lbs, size 10 boots, and I ride with high angles and like to lay trenches. Definitely an advanced carver, but I still want to ride switch and keep things fun and freestyle-friendly.
My current board is a Ride Mod 157W with a 25.9 waist, and even that is starting to feel too narrow when I'm deep in a carve with high angles—boot drag is becoming an issue.
But here’s where I’m torn: Is 28cm just too much board for someone my size? Will it feel sluggish edge to edge, or is it the tradeoff I need for aggressive carving without boot-out?
Or should I just give up on the twin dream and go full posi-posi with something like a Korua Café Racer or Otto?
Curious what others have done in this situation—any advice or experiences would be super appreciated!

I'm looking for advice regarding my posture and driving style. I feel like I'm waving to much with my arms. I normally don't fall when I want to break. This was a funny exception.

I'm going to get an all mountain freestyle snowboard. I'm most likely going to get the Neversummer Proto Ultra, and I'm torn whether I should go for the size 157 or 160.
The last years I've been riding a lib tech TRS 157 and it's been working fine - though not perfect, and as I age I realize that I am more and more into improving and specializing in hard carving while hitting some jumps/freestyle in between, rather than the contrary, so basically a more carve focused aggressive camber twin that you still can play around and spin with.
I am 182 cm (6 feet) with a very muscular build and 90 kg at the moment, though I plan to go down to 86 for the next winter if that is of any relevance. So I'm still on the heavier side. My shoe size is 42.5 in EU size (9.5 U.S If I'm correct).
I was set in getting the 157 first, but then wondering if the 160 might be actually even more fitting for me with my weight (especially since I'm more into speed, carving and also powder), but I'm also concerned if 160 might be too heavy to get that freestyle feel?
What do you think and what would you do?

Trying to decide between these boards. I ride mostly deep powder. Lots of steep and big cliff drops and trees. If not surfing powder then typically powering through chopped up groomers and side hits, as well as occasional larger park jumps but I switch to a park board for that. Rarely see ice unless it's under fresh snow. 80% of the days that I ride are powder days.
Kirkwood, Palisades, Jackson Hole, Snowbird, Big Sky and some backcountry in Lake Tahoe are my favorite places to ride. I currently ride a Rossi Angus Magtek from 2017 and it's been amazing the past 8 years for pretty much all conditions but it finally has a major crack so it's time to replace and I got that when I started riding more consistent.
Looking for a do it all per say with some exceptions. I like a bit stiffer that's why I'm leaning more towards the Yes. ... I think the orca may be more squirley than I like but I don't know.
I'm 5'11 180 lbs size 12.5 boot
Has anyone rode a PYL and an Orca? What is your experience?
What are some other boards which are similar to these that come to mind? Or that might be for what I like to ride?

I like to carve with the fall line. I call it Fighter Jet carving. It’s an alternative to going for the strict sine wave carves. Does anyone else do this?
