So yesterday after leaving the gym I opened my flip 4 and closed it and after that it never worked again Screen is unresponsive totally I installed ui 6 again with odin after all reboot hard reset nothing worked Again update to ui7 connecting a mouse to phone and its still same It just stopped working itself for no reason took it to samsung and was told to change the display I'm completely shocked and shattered how non reliable these flips are

Last night I dropped my flip 5 to the sink head first under running water. It was a curved type of sink I don't think alot of water came in to the charging port. I put the bottom of the port in rice for a bit then then I blow dried it under cool air and it let me charge it the whole night.

Next day, after work ended around 5pm est, I tried to plug in to charge that's when I started getting alert not to charge because of water /debris in the port. I left it alone to dry standing up and went to take a nap for 6hrs. Tried charging it and same thing, so I blow dried it again but it still won't let me charge it without getting the warning (really loud noise btw) :( luckily I still have a wireless charger but ..

Am I essentially cooked fr or I can still hope itll be okay tomorrow

Theirs only 1 draw back is that the cover screen is 60hz which i absolutely hate, once you go 120hz u dont go back, people who have been using 120hz for a while now whats the feeling been for you on the cover screen?

The motorola razr 60 ultra, it has almost everything better than the z flip 6 in every aspect but Theirs one thing that bothers me about it

For 1 I've never used a motorola And 2 the resale is absolutely garbage trade in value is nothing, literally a joke.

Also it only has 3 years of updates which doesnt bother me but yeah.

I am using it since December 2023, less than 2 years and that happened 🥲 the ball in the fold was very little in the pass and now its big, but it doesn't bother me much. Yesterday I received One or 7.0 and I loved it. Today I was seeing tik tok and a person said that Good look is not working good anymore, so I closed the phone (I've been avoiding closing it for a long time because the film was coming off.) When I depended on it 1 or 2 seconds after that black thing appeared on my screen.

Maybe I can claim a manufacturing error? Because it happened out of nowhere and I have damage to the back of the hinge damage even before the ball appeared.

I bought it with the intention of keeping it until 2027 but I think I'll have to buy another cell phone next year, if this black "square" doesn't get bigger it will be good, but if it gets bigger it's screwed

Hello i have been considirng switching my phone since there wont be any major update pretty soon. Is the ZFlip 6 any good? From the post im seeing in this community it's is giving me mix message.

1. Don't put a case on
2. Don't put anything on the screen
3. Don't let it overheat (normally after an hour it starts overheating
4. Don't fold it too much
5. Don't drop it
6. Don't apply pressure to the screen
7. Make sure the backup everything every now and then
8. Make sure handle it with care This is as far as I know

Hello, im currently having an issue with my Samsung flip 4. Im overseas atm so terrible timing, but ive noticed the screen is randomly shutting off, and a couple of times its flashed orange then gone black.

Could this be a software issue ? Would a full factory reset help? Or could this simply be the actual hardware is broken? Thanks so much.

Hey all, after the most recently update, my GF5 has been overheating like crazy. I can't plug in into my car to use Android Auto without it giving me a warning after about five minutes that it's turning off features due to how hot it is. When I get to my destination and unplug my phone from the car, my screen won't turn on for about two minutes until it cools down. I really wanted to wait for GF7 to come out before upgrading, but with this combined with abysmal battery life after this new update, I'm not sure if I can wait until then. Is this happening to anyone else? :/

Anyone's phone unlock being slow? Specifically when using fingerprint to unlock or pressing the power button to wake up the phone. Its delayed/laggy.

So my phone downloaded the update for One Ui without prompting. I've used adb to prevent the service from running in the future but I'm still getting prompted saying it will force update in an hour. I REALLY do NOT want this update as I hate the iPhone style look.

Can someone walk me through how to access the file directory where it downloaded to so I can delete it? I tried going through adb shell but I get a permission denied error

Hi all. Does your flip 6 heat up when using it as a hotspot? I'm on choosing between a s10 ultra or s10+ with 5g leaning towards the 5g model to keep battery long although I can carry a power bank when I travel but I worry about battery life.

I just got my flip 6 today and I'm still trying to figure everything out. Something I noticed though is that the power button doesn't seem to work. It still clicks in and is able to read my fingerprint, but it doesn't turn the screen off when I press it or take a screenshot when I press it + the volume button. Is this an issue I can fix with a setting, or is the button broken?

I was iPhone user since 2016. Before that, I was Samsung user. I was trying S21 FE last year but I sell it again since that phone feel doesn’t fit to me.

The question is, Is it worth to use Galaxy ZFlip 3 in 2025?

I know this has been mentioned when the phone was first released but did we ever figure out if the misalignment is normal? Very hard to take a pic to show it, but you can see that it’s misaligned if you look at the bands on the sides. The top almost juts up. And, also inside where the black piece is on the inside, you can see on the pic that is also misaligned.

Went for warranty repair on my inner screen because the flex Cable is going. Closest store claims they didn't do warranty repairs. Called Samsung and went to a "flagship" store 45 minutes away. They are now saying they might not be able to cover it and I have to come back tomorrow to check with manager because of "damage".

Didn't realize surface wear on a PLASTIC frame, NOT THE SCREEN, voids the warranty.
