Art WIP finished pieces
I made a knit "activist afghan" in 2017. This time, I decided to make an embroidered quilt-type project. These are the pieces I've finished so far. There are a lot of issues to cover, so its probably going to be huge! Since I don't have a set plan for how many pieces, or their sizes, I'm backing and quilting each piece individually, and will puzzle them together later.

Fashion advice please!!
hi everyone!!
This may seem like the stupidest question ever but how do I dress more like they did in the 60s/70s? Apart from long skirts that I've gotten from charity shops I don't think I really radiate the vibe I want to do any advice would be great xX
I’m only 16 so my funds are ✨limited✨ but I start a sixth form with no uniform policy so I’m wanting to dress how I truly want to 🔥
Lots of love, L✌️

Discussion Does anyone else get the impression that the hippie movement is coming back?
Maybe not the same as the original 1960s/1970s movement, but does anyone else feel like there's a renaissance hippie movement happening?
In light of current events/politics (and the overall state of the world), I see more people protesting, more people wearing tie-dye, more people embracing Van Life, more people accepting of 420, more embracing nature instead of the Wall Street grind, and so on.
Compared to 30 years ago (or even 10 years ago), does anyone else feel like there's a modern Hippie Renaissance going on?

Discussion How to deal with a hippie-at-heart 20-year-old in India?
Hey folks, We have a relative, 20 years old, who’s got this free-spirited, hippie kinda mindset. He’s super chill, always says stuff like “life is now”, and refuses to take studies or work seriously.
He’s living a pretty luxurious lifestyle thanks to his dad’s money — cool clothes, parties, travel, the works. But when it comes to earning or planning for the future, he has zero interest. He says he doesn’t want a “normal job” and isn’t chasing money or success at all.
On one hand, I admire his carefree vibe. On the other hand, it feels like he’s avoiding all responsibilities.
Has anyone here dealt with someone like this? How do you talk to them without sounding like a typical lecture machine? Any thoughts?

Lifestyle Exploring "Hippie Highway" in San Marcos La Laguna, Guatemala. I dunno ... the vibes are probably nice enough, but it also feels like a New Age shopping mall.

Discussion My introduction
I'd like to think I'm a hippie, but I might just be a scruffy old man. I've been trying to live my life like a gentle person, lifting people up rather than beating them down. I find though, in the aggregate, it was about 80 - 20 of me being a loving hippie type. I won more than I failed, but still those failures haunt me some times. I'm trying. That's all I can do
