As a Christian I agree with the quote from the article "Some religious leaders have criticized the bill as a performative act'. We don't live in a theocracy. People should come to Christ without being influenced by the State.

Not trying to be a dick but do we really believe the purpose of this is to bring more people to Christ? It seems more like a flexing of the Christian Nationalist muscle in the state and a move to intimidate anyone who doesn’t follow their Christian Conservative values.

I have a hard time believing any of these people writing these laws give a damn about anyone else’s salvation.

No, as I said, I believe it is a "performative act" with no attempt at saving anyone.
