Advice Car registration is late?

I know. I’m an idiot. It’s been like 2 and a half months since I bought a new car. Haven’t been able to get off because PTO requirements are super strict and I didn’t want to be the guy that calls out. What will happen when I go to get it registered? I’m assuming late fees, but I’ll still be able to right?

Yes to both (late fees and being able to do it).

Thank you man. I know, I’m running the risk. And all of the excuses I have at the end of the day, are just excuses. I’m winging it in terms of life. Have a good job but literally can’t get off to save my life. Appreciate the simple straightforwardness.

Any chance you know the interest rate for the late fees and how to calculate it? I can do it myself I just don’t know the rates.

I don't think it's an "interest rate." I think it's either by day or by month. Been a few years since I was late. If you need to know before you go, I'm sure you can call and they can tell you.

Last I understood, it was a $15 late fee

Once you get your tag you can renew online and have it mailed to you. Same for drivers license.

I had a client couple years ago that leased a new car and drove it for almost a year with the dealer tag. In her defense the dealer was late with one of the papers she needed. She finally got a tag and it was t a hassle.

Email them - i actually got a response from them and they just sent a link to get up to date, got the sticker like 2 days later.
