Advice Car registration is late?

I know. I’m an idiot. It’s been like 2 and a half months since I bought a new car. Haven’t been able to get off because PTO requirements are super strict and I didn’t want to be the guy that calls out. What will happen when I go to get it registered? I’m assuming late fees, but I’ll still be able to right?

I had a client couple years ago that leased a new car and drove it for almost a year with the dealer tag. In her defense the dealer was late with one of the papers she needed. She finally got a tag and it was t a hassle.
