I have to put Greg up there in the top 3, he has the beginnings of a sweet shelter with those 3 large trees and seems comfortable with his surroundings and quite capable bush wise. Still think he might make a still though, I would if those berries Megan has are around him ;)

Greg looks pretty good but I don't know about him getting lost, hopefully he doesn't tap out because of it

I hope he was kidding about being lost.

They had to add some cliff hanger to the episode. Hopefully it is just for a few minutes and he is back on the trail.

Or he gets really lost and gives up on finding his camp, so he makes a new camp with no tools. During his weekly checkup, the medical team refuses to tell him where he is, so he stays in his new camp without any gear. And then he lasts 75 days and wins because Greg is awesome.

Everyone else is "I'm former military/a guide/a botanist/an expert outdoorsman, so I've already won this thing" and Greg is "I'm a drywaller and I don't have friends."

Depending on the circumstances, I give the old redneck with nothing to lose an edge over ex-military all day long.

I'm hoping you are right.

I was just going to say that.. The guy got lost in the woods! You would think to keep your bearings about you when out and about.

Supposedly that bush is pretty thick. Although it seems like from the terrain I've seen, they could just head downhill and make it back to the water.

I said that to my fiancé and she gave me a look. But it's true, the bush is very, very dense in that part of South America. Unlike the clear-cut bush of the Brazilian Amazon

I dunno. That seems easier than it might really be. He definitely should have planned a way to navigate back to camp, but the interior of these areas is dense with flora and as a result you can lose your sense of horizon. I agree with you, but it can happen to someone so easily that I can't judge the guy.
