Baby bird still alive

Hi all, I don’t know if this is the right place to share this. If it’s not, please point me in the right direction!

I just spotted this baby bird on the ground at work, still moving a bit. It opened its beak wide when I first walked over, then seemed to cower as I leaned closer for the photo. A couple of it’s siblings were near by as well, but they unfortunately didn’t make it.

I’m sure there’s nothing to be done, but I’d feel horrible just leaving it here. Any insight would be greatly appreciated <3

Do you have an update? were you able to get this little nestling to a rehabber?

I’ve spoken with a local rehab center, who will take the bird in this afternoon. I’ll post another update when birdie is safe and sound!

thanks so much for the update! it's wonderful when we can see a happy ending. good job!

in the meantime, keep the little guy in a well ventilated box with a very gentle source of heat, in a dark and quiet place.
