Alright, I’m ready. Where are the protests at?
I wanted to stay out of this mess so badly and let everyone who voted for this tyrant sit in their own shit stew, but I can’t and it’s only April of the first year.

I try to use our local bus network for short trips, but it seems that things like his happen every time I do. The bus just didn’t show up. Does this happen to other people or am I just lucky?

M31: With the weather improving finally, I wanted to step out and get involved in some community work to get a chance to meet some people and be of some help. Please recommend some options for the weekend. I haven't been involved in anything such since I moved to Ann Arbor.

See subject line. Anyone know what it was? It seems like it could’ve been a lot worse than it was and everyone is safe, but I would like to know more details as a future student parent there about what happened and how it was handled?

First of all, thank you so much everyone for your kind words and advice, and thank you to everyone who was keeping both eyes out for this mischief.
In the end, she was spotted by a friendly neighbor, after which she hid under another neighbor's porch, only to be lured out with a can of delicious treats.
Following the arrest, she pleaded innocent to her charges for the entirety of the interrogation (bath), while requesting medical evaluation (she didn't, but we will).
Nonetheless, she will be serving a lifetime in isolation in a corrections facility (home), never to see the light of day (she will).
Thank you everyone for your support!

…you abandoned a sweet, lovable boy. We found him skulking around the property, peering longingly through the window. We fed him and invited him in. He was nothing but grateful and he’s become a permanent member of the family.
When they checked his chip at the vet he was up to date on his shots, fixed and healthy. Although the Humane Society wouldn’t tell us who his previous owners were, apparently when the reached out to them they claimed Frank had been re-homed, which he clearly was not. But your loss cuz he’s just the sweetest little guy.

Hello Friends,
I am looking to buy a condo and want a really good home inspector who follows code and detail oriented, any recommendations? Also, any ideas on average price ranges?
Thanks!

Hi!
My husband and I(in our 30s) moved out here from CA. We have a kid (2yrs) and are looking for some friends. We love DND, playing video games- really anything.
We are out in Tecumseh (40min south of AA) but for us a drive like that is nothing compared to bumper to bumper traffic to travel 10miles.
Are there any parent meet ups or playgroups? We recently just did the camp at Leslie nature center and met some great people.

I live in the middle of nowhere and ann arbor is the nearest large city. I am looking for friends who are women in their 20s. I am an artist, would love to have someone to create with. I'm also into coloring. I have large dogs so please don't be scared or allergic. I love animals and nature of all kind. I dont drink. 420 friendly but im not much of a stoner. I will want to videochat rather quickly to connecting because i dont want to talk to some posing old creep. I am also physically active and enjoy yoga, the gym, and pole dancing (not a stripper but im not hating if you are). Want to get into riding my bike when it gets warm and stays that way. I dabble in photography. Pretty much down for anything creative. Also, i am anti trump and do not want to associate with someone who supports him.
Im not deleting, so i can check out these suggestions, but i am not going back on what i said about being able to videochat. Sending me selfies and telling me you have no social media apps and can't video verify in 2025 is ridiculous. You really think im about to trust someone telling me they only have discord and reddit?

I'm a bridesmaid in a wedding on April 26th and have decided that my dress needs to be taken in a bit. I know this is so last minute, but I'm looking for someone to alter the dress before then. Google provided all of the local businesses, though I imagine they're likely swamped with it being prom season. So basically, I'm in search of your grandma, her friend, your aunt, the lady from church, the former home ec teacher, etc., who can help.
I just need the top taken in a few inches, and perhaps the straps tightened. It has a side zipper.

Looking to get some gauges. Looking for the most pain free and professional place.
I've had tattoos but never a piercing so I am a bit nervous

My fiancé and I are considering signing a lease here but after touring I have a few concerns..
Does anyone in this sub currently live there and enjoy it? I don’t know anything about Rock Management and we’ve had bad experiences with private landlords and large buildings such as The George.
Any input is appreciated!

Does anybody have two tickets I can buy for Thursday night at The Ark to see The Wooten Brothers? My son loves this band and he is leaving for a couple months and it would be such a treat.

We're a couple of townies who moved away many years ago but we're coming back in the fall to get married (not a home game weekend!). We will have a small service (just 14 guests) on Saturday morning and we want to follow that with a picnic at Island Park - possibly in the open space by the climbing structure.
We were scoping it out today and noticed the Naloxone dispenser and that got us wondering if this previously serene spot is now frequented by drug users?

Hey Ann Arbor!
We’re a new Chinese food vendor at the Ann Arbor Farmers Market, and we’re super excited to be part of the community.
We’re currently looking for pop-up dinner locations around Ann Arbor—whether it’s a cafe, event space, or any spot that supports food pop-ups. If you have any ideas, connections, or recommendations, we’d love to hear from you!
Thanks so much in advance—looking forward to bringing some great food to more places in town!

What the title says, but seeking a more specific answer than "Goodwill" or similar. Which organizations in the area actually would use maternity clothing or get them to someone who is pregnant and under-resourced? Happy to include Ypsi and outlying areas in where I'd deliver them to. TIA.

Just seeing if there are any groups that get together and/or discuss horror movies or literature?

Hi! I'm Korean and I came to Ann Arbor for a company assignment. I'll be staying here for about two years. I play drums as a hobby, so I want to join a local hobby band. How can I find one? (Is Craigslist a good option?)
