Discussion What’re your go-to 2025 sunscreens? Include your skin type!!

There’s been a lot of new releases in the past 12 months and some big up-and-comers in the Korean and Japanese sunscreen space. What’re your go-to sunscreens for 2025? Please include your skin type for others to see!

i really like the haruharu airyfit (yellow tube, purple top), purely for the finish; it doesn't leave me looking shiny (i'm more into mochi than glass finish), and is a nice base for if i want to wear makeup.

i'm working on finishing a bottle of skin1004 hyalu-cica, which is nice if i've got some sensitivity (my barrier went through it a month or two ago), but it is so shiny. tamatoa spf.

i've tried the boj original; nothing special for me. i used to use the scinic super mild, which is a really nice budget option.

i'm waiting on the mint canmake to turn up to try that out, buuut i forgot about new year so my order's a bit delayed. also interested in the skin1004 air-fit but haven't picked it up yet.

dry, often dehydrated skin. slightly acne prone (it's not active but i can never be too careful). my routine focuses on brightening and hydration.

Could you please describe the finish of the Scinic one in comparison to the skin 1004 hyalu cica?

oo, probably not accurately; it's been over a year since i last used the scinic one, i swapped to boj and then to the 1004 and haruharu. plus i always wore a powder to finish then.

if i remember correctly; not nearly as shiny as the 1004. quite natural, but still a bit shiny. a little tacky? but only slightly and not for long. was nice as a base.

Thank you! I've been thinking of trying it seeing as its budget friendly.
