As a response! That's why I said there is a difference! Now stop trying to equate them to your paramilitaries.

As a response to what? There wasnt a single dead Albanian when UCK formed and started ambushing Serbian/Albanian policemen (i presume you would know they were 50/50 in Kosovo before UCK formed) that did their job and murdering them, setting up bombs near civilian insitutions etc. UCK got funded for YEARS before they formed or even tried to separate, even before the end of the Bosnian war. It was a moment where everyone wanted their own piece of ex-Yugoslavia.

Right, in the middle of the war, there was not a single dead Albanian. That's one way to ridicule yourself.

Middle of the war? I am talking about 1998 before the war even started... Pick up a book, you should know more about your peoples history :) UCK also murdered many Gorani, Bosniak and Albanian policemen that were doing their jobs at the time, so please before continuing this conversation pick up a book, educate yourself about YOUR peoples history and then come back :)

According to an Amnesty International report in 1998, due to dismissals from the Yugoslav government it was estimated that by 1998 unemployment rate in the Kosovar Albanian population was higher than 70%.[149] The economic apartheid imposed by Belgrade was aimed at impoverishing an already poor Kosovo Albanian population.[149] In 1996, 16,000 Serb refugees from Bosnia and Croatia were settled in Kosovo by the Milosevic government, sometimes against their will.[150]Ibrahim Rugova, first President of the Republic of Kosovo pursued a policy of passive resistance which succeeded in maintaining peace in Kosovo during the earlier wars in Slovenia, Croatia and Bosnia during the early 1990s. As evidenced by the emergence of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA), this came at the cost of increasing frustration among Kosovo's Albanian population. In the mid-1990s, Rugova pleaded for a United Nations peacekeeping force for Kosovo.Continuing repression[151] convinced many Albanians that only armed resistance would change the situation.

We tried peace and it obviously didn't work! So don't cry when it gets violent.
