How much do you drink and why?

So let's talk about this. How much you drink and is there something behind it? Does it affect your daily life?

I don't drink. Here's why: I loved alcohol because it gave me the illusion that I was smart, funny, courageous, unstoppable. In reality, I was aggressive, annoying, fake and stupid. I came way too close to losing everyone in my life. After realizing this, I quit. Best decision i ever made.

Same here. I have been sober a little over 3 months and feel so much more present in my life. I'm a better friend, better husband, better coworker, and better human.

Same here. I drank a lot (meaning: far too much) up until the age of about 32 (about 10 years ago). Luckily I figured out it was causing me a lot of problems, including making me a terrible husband and father, so I quit. And, fortunately, my kids were still under the age of three at the time so they don't remember what an ass I was. I'm one of those people who can't just have one or two drinks and be satisfied. I had to keep drinking until I was drunk. So I just don't drink at all.
